Bacary Sagna Miss FA Cup Semi-final

Arsenal will be down to the bare bones in defence on Saturday after Bacary Sagna was ruled out of the FA Cup Semi-Final. The French right back missed the midweek victory over Villarreal with an illness and he has not recovered in time to face Chelsea. To make matters worse, Kieran Gibbs must pass a fitness test on his groin injury before he is cleared to play.

With William Gallas, Johan Djourou (both knee) and Gael Clichy (back) all sidelined, Arsène Wenger may have little option but to move Mikael Silvestre to left back and deploy Alex Song in central defence. “It’s bad news, Sagna is not back,” confirmed Wenger at his pre-match press conference.

Arsenal are a love, just like a girlfriend or a wife. You cannot fix things you don’t like by moaning about her. But believe me, Arsenal are one stunning girlfriend. Arsenal were, and still are, my team. I am an Arsenal fan and have been since I was a child. I loved Thierry Henry because he was a genius player. Once a gunner always a gunner.

  4. wenger and directors do not have sense of humour because they do not care the pain we get all they care is taking fans money and holding it without giving us what we deserve[pleasure].we are not forcing you tocompete chelse or man city but the ploblem is that you do not want to spend even small amount of money to buy few players to strength the squad
