Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is chasing one or two experienced players this summer but not a striker. With this season’s trophy-hunt ending on Tuesday night at the hands of Red Devils, Manchester United, it was inevitable that the he would be questioned about his transfer plans at Friday’s pre-match press conference.

Arsenal team badly needs some striking force and defence power.This has been evident in the previos matches. It is very disapointing to have the best of ball possesion but not score goals. Arsenal fans are very frustrated afrter losing to the blues. Wenger must bring in experienced strikers like samuel Eto’o or Giovanni.

Wenger is a good coach and he is the man who made Arsenal to be what it is today but sometimes i dont like the way he makes up lineups especially in serious games.Pls stop using Diaby in the first team coz he loses balls easily and he is somehow dull.We need trophies and we dont want to build a team which does not make impact in the premiership.Pls Arsene get serious with things and do not blame other coaches for winning trophies.

My team has exellent players and goal scorers, no doubt about that. Where we are trailling is in defence. Can someone explain how a 4 all draw could have surfaced at Anfield with good defenders? or without good strikers? Scoring 4 goals against teams like Liverpool, Wigan atheletic, blackburn, Stoke etc takes good strikers.
All we need is defenders to hold the opponent from equalizing, we are sure of scoring!!!

you guys don’t know what you are talking about. Adebayor is a crucial part of the team. He and cesc last season were the face of arsenal. Thats when he had 25+ goals and was african player of the year. He had slightly less this year but is still a huge role as a goal scorer. If Van Persie could stay fit then him and Adebayor can run the offense effectively. The problem is that there is no goals comming from anywhere else on the field. That started to change when Arshavin came into play. We need a better partner for Cesc and need defenders who know how to prevent goals. Gallas and Toure’s days are numbered.

lafia, eboue is a better player than walcott. E ad a bad spell dis season which was made worse because of the lack of support he received fm the supporters. Aftr wenger helped get im through it, e was very good for the last twelve games. Remember e is a right back who players attack football better than walcott, who by the way, should be playing as a striker.

eboue scored two goals in a recent asnl game one being a penalty. watch im when e drives fwd wid the ball, e goes pass players more skillfully than walcott. e has more confidence. (ad to dat e is a right back remember)
by the way my friends what will appen to Asnl TV wen Satanta loose all there screening rites. They failed to pay the 30mil they owe the prem lge. Im a hammer but love to see the academy footy. It has been fantastic to view the future stars playing football on a typical sunday football setting, I myself ave family connected to the asnl academy and ave seen players like Jay Thomas, S Watts, R Murphy, J Wiltshire (and K Gibb now in 1st team) come through. Any views people.

i still cant see ow de asnl r going 2 win anyting dis season. They still have not strengthen the middle of the lawn with experienced players, Players that are prepared to put there body on the line for the cause when under attack. Wenger should pls sell adebayor and bendtner.Buy a sharp striker.Rosicky is too fragile,play as if there’s no bone in his body and get injured easily.
Walcot need to improve,look up while running with ball and perfect his crosses/finishes. We need a defensive midfielder.
We always start well but fade off by December/January period. Wenger pls look into this.

i suppose Arsenel wenger buy well qualified player and also skillful player to make arsenal take a troupy for this season and we should look on to our defenders and strikers they are not good enough we need more of them in order to be the champion of England and we should also think on how to solve for the injury problem all season arsenal matches are wonderful but when it is almost end of season some skilfully player always go to injuries and we should learn on how to recognize themselves well in terms of passing to others well i wish Arsenal good lucks these season and we need more skillful player and finishing striker like Rooney thank you from Nigeria Mando Kaduna.

Please,why can Wenger buy at least two midfielders and one striker to support Robin. But he must ensure that Silvester must leave gunners. He has Done good for the club, but let him find another club where his game belong.

Wenger should know that players can get injuries and as such there is need to have strong substitutes for all positions. Manoune should be promoted to be first choice goal keeper if Wenger is admant to get a new goal keeper b’se Almunia has sold us on many occaison because of his unconsistent form. We want to win atleast a trophy this coming season so that we fans and also players be happy.The goal for football is trophy not nice play.
