Arsene Wenger

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is chasing one or two experienced players this summer but not a striker. With this season’s trophy-hunt ending on Tuesday night at the hands of Red Devils, Manchester United, it was inevitable that the he would be questioned about his transfer plans at Friday’s pre-match press conference.

Thats when he had 25+ goals and was african player of the year. He had slightly less this year but is still a huge role as a goal scorer. If Van Persie could stay fit then him and Adebayor can run the offense effectively. The problem is that there is no goals comming from anywhere else on the field. That started to change when Arshavin came into play. We need a better partner for Cesc and need defenders who know how to prevent goals. Gallas and Toure’s days are numbered.
