Arsenal Squad Pre-Season Training Pictures

Arsenal Squad Training

The 2009/10 campaign edged a little closer today when the Arsenal squad returned for pre-season training. New signing Thomas Vermaelen took part in his first training session since his summer move from Ajax and there were plenty of familiar faces on show including Tomas Rosicky, Eduardo, William Gallas, Samir Nasri and Andrey Arshavin.

Philippe Senderos was back after completing his loan spell with Milan. And as ever Arsène Wenger was there to put the players through their paces. There were some notable absentees from today’s session including Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs, who reached the European Under-21 Championship Final with England, and Cesc Fabregas, part of Spain’s squad at the Confederations Cup in South Africa. They are expected back in action later this month.

With the injuries hitting us so hard,without any major signing,I really doubt if we gona do much better than last season.Mr Wenger pls use the money at your disposal to get us experienced players coz these youngsters once they get exposure tend to leave.Arsenal is not an academy for other big teams,its high time we won the league.A Gunner for life

    Iam a die hard Arsenal fun, I think our problem sometime last year even in champions league was goalkeeping when Alumonia got injured we were fambling,please try and beef up the goalkeepers.
    Again we need few experience players to add to the young and talented ones so that we the gunners can conque the world.
