Arsenal attacking midfielder, Theo Walcott will miss Arsenal’s first Premier League match of the season against Everton on Saturday, after Arsène Wenger’s young squad suffered a triple injury blow. As well as Walcott, who has a back injury, defender Johan Djourou wasruled out for a month with a knee problem while reserve goalkeeper Lukasz Fabiański will be unavailable for two months after undergoing surgery on a cartilage injury.

This means that Thomas Vermaelen was probably his debut with William Gallas in defense, Wenger on the need for another center back, before the closure of the transfer window.

Arsenal are a love, just like a girlfriend or a wife. You cannot fix things you don’t like by moaning about her. But believe me, Arsenal are one stunning girlfriend. Arsenal were, and still are, my team. I am an Arsenal fan and have been since I was a child. I loved Thierry Henry because he was a genius player. Once a gunner always a gunner.
